Ashihara Karate N.I.K.O.

Ashihara Karate is currently one of the most popular and effective martial arts styles. Appearing in Japan in 1980 as a creation of Kancho Hideyuki Ashihara, the style spread relatively quickly, attracting Martial Arts practitioners from all over the world. The rapid popularity of Kancho Hideyuki Ashihara’s style led to the appearance in 1986 of the first Ashihara Karate dojo in Romania. In continuous expansion in Romania, the style of Ashihara Karate currently registers a number of over 3,000 legitimate athletes at 21 clubs spread nationwide.

Shihan Dai NICOLAE DASCALU, one of the most gallooned fighters of this style, obtained the title of instructor in 1991 and opened his own dojo in 1993, developing in time the “Nicu Dascalu” Martial Arts Academy, which is currently one of the oldest even more titled sports structures in the world of Martial Arts in Romania with a number of 250 legitimate athletes who train at the dojos in Brasov, Rasnov, Bran, Halchiu and Sibiu. The experience and the special competitive performance were reflected in the results obtained by the athletes of the “Nicu Dascalu” Academy over time.
